Meet Dr. Taylor Brooks
Easy and helpful should describe your eye care experience with Dr. Brooks. Dr. Brooks is a native Texan who specializes in helping people see their best. For adults, this means preventive care for eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. For teens and children, orthokeratology and vision therapy maximize vision for the classroom and in competition.
Dr. Brooks is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, an associate member-in-process for fellowship in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and a member of the Sports Vision Section of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Brooks graduated with honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry after graduating from Baylor University with a degree in biology.
Dr. Brooks has been honored to receive the “Best of the Best” Optometrist distinction for the past six years. Dr. Brooks and his wife, Amy, have been married for 21 years and have four children. He is a member of Church at the Cross and is privileged to serve their church family as an Elder. To relax, he enjoys kayaking, woodworking, and guitar.
